ES180 Sculpting/Pizza Body is a robust, coarsely grogged Earthstone clay designed for high-temperature and heavy-duty applications. It feels open and textured to the touch, giving excellent grip for hand-building and modelling. With a wide and reliable firing range of 900°C–1280°C, ES180 is suited to pizza ovens, raku and large sculptural work.

The coarse grog in ES180 gives outstanding structural strength and very low shrinkage, helping to resist warping, cracking and thermal shock during firing. Its open texture is ideal for slab and sculptural construction, while its raku compatibility and high-temperature resilience make it a reliable choice for functional and architectural pieces alike. Use glazes and surface treatments rated for stoneware/raku within the 900°C–1280°C range for best results.
