The Flux F1 throwing rib has a narrow curved edge for shaping wheel-thrown clay, refining smaller curves and working the profile of a form. It can also be used for smoothing and compressing the clay surface while throwing.
Made from cellulose acetate, the rib retains useful stiffness for shaping while giving slightly when pressure is applied.
