Soft Mauve-Lilac Colour for Stoneware Decoration
Orchid Milton Bridge dry stoneware glaze gives fired ceramic work a soft mauve-lilac colour, with deeper purple tones visible around the raised decoration in the sample shown. This gentle colour variation can help carved, impressed and relief details remain visible while adding a muted coloured surface to functional or decorative stoneware pieces.
The 1kg powdered glaze is mixed with water and medium before application. The glaze recipe contains no clay, so the brushing medium supports adhesion to the ceramic body, helps reduce settling, extends shelf life and helps minimise crazing during firing.
- Mix thoroughly before application
- Apply up to 3 coats
- Suitable for functional and decorative stoneware ceramics when fired as directed
