Powdered Raku Glaze for a Gun Metal Metallic Effect
Gun Metal Raku Glaze is a dry Milton Bridge glaze for creating a variable Gun Metal metallic-effect surface through Raku firing. It suits decorative ceramic work where changes in colour and surface appearance are intended to contribute to the individual finished result.
Choose the 1kg powder when you need a smaller dry-glaze quantity that can be mixed for the selected application technique. Begin with the recommended ratio, introduce any additional water gradually and test the glaze before important work because Raku results can vary considerably between firings.
- Mix thoroughly before adjusting the consistency
- Add extra water in small, controlled stages
- Record the final mixture and application thickness for comparison tests
