Orange Underglaze for Warm Fired Ceramic Decoration
Arizona Sun Gare Fun Strokes Underglaze brings a warm orange fired colour to bisque pottery, making it useful for painted decoration, bright accents, pattern work and larger areas of colour in ceramic decorating projects.
Apply to shelf Cone 04 bisque after sponging the ware to remove dust, then add a clear glaze before firing to shelf Cone 06. Use one coat for translucent colour or build with 2–3 coats for opaque coverage. For more colours in this range, browse Gare Fun Strokes Underglazes.
- Useful for orange fired detail, warm accents and decorative colour areas on bisque
- Good for building a bright kiln-fired underglaze colour palette
- Let each coat dry before applying the next, and test colour combinations before important pieces
