Off-White Underglaze for Soft Fired Ceramic Detail
Not Quite White Gare Fun Strokes Underglaze adds a soft off-white fired colour to bisque pottery, making it useful for pale accents, gentle highlights, painted motifs and lighter colour areas in ceramic decorating projects.
Apply to shelf Cone 04 bisque after sponging the ware to remove dust, then cover with clear glaze before firing to shelf Cone 06. Use one coat for translucent colour or build with 2–3 coats for opaque coverage. For more colours in this range, browse Gare Fun Strokes Underglazes.
- Useful for off-white fired detail, soft highlights and gentle decorative colour on bisque
- Can be applied light over dark where the project design needs layered colour work
- Let each coat dry before adding the next, and test colour combinations before important pieces
