Beige Underglaze for Warm Fired Ceramic Detail
Buck Naked, also known as Nutty 4 U, Gare Fun Strokes Underglaze adds a warm beige fired colour to bisque pottery, making it useful for soft accents, natural details, painted motifs and lighter neutral colour areas in ceramic decorating projects.
Apply to shelf Cone 04 bisque after sponging the ware to remove dust, then cover with clear glaze before firing to shelf Cone 06. Use one coat for translucent colour or build with 2–3 coats for opaque coverage. For more colours in this range, browse Gare Fun Strokes Underglazes.
- Useful for warm beige fired detail, soft shading and neutral decorative accents
- Can help balance stronger colours within a fired underglaze palette
- Let each coat dry before adding the next, and test colour combinations before important pieces
