Yellow Underglaze for Bright Fired Ceramic Decoration
What a Yolk Gare Fun Strokes Underglaze adds a warm yellow fired colour to bisque pottery, making it useful for cheerful details, decorative motifs, painted accents and larger areas of colour in ceramic decorating projects.
Apply to shelf Cone 04 bisque after sponging the ware to remove dust, then cover with clear glaze before firing to shelf Cone 06. Use one coat for a more translucent colour or build with 2–3 coats for opaque coverage. For a close match in the Cromartie Colours range, see Sunflower Cromartie Colours Underglaze.
- Useful for yellow detail work, painted decoration and brighter colour accents on bisque
- Works well as part of a wider fired underglaze colour palette
- Let each coat dry before applying the next, and test colour combinations before important pieces
