Deep Blue Underglaze for Fired Bisque Decoration
Galaxy Blue Gare Fun Strokes Underglaze adds a deep blue fired colour to bisque pottery, making it useful for bold accents, painted details, darker pattern work and larger colour areas in ceramic decorating projects.
Apply to shelf Cone 04 bisque after sponging the ware to remove dust, then cover with clear glaze before firing to shelf Cone 06. Use one coat for translucent colour or build with 2–3 coats for opaque coverage. For more colours in this range, browse Gare Fun Strokes Underglazes.
- Useful for deep blue fired detail, contrast areas and decorative colour work on bisque
- Can be applied light over dark where the project design needs layered colour work
- Let each coat dry before adding the next, and test colour combinations before important pieces
