Real Clear 1Fire Glaze creates a clear, smooth fired surface that keeps underglaze, wash decoration and ceramic texture visible. It suits patterned tiles, painted bisque, relief work and textured ornaments where the colour and detail beneath the glaze should remain the focus.
Choose this glaze when you need a neutral clear covering rather than another fired colour, either as a standalone finish or over decorated work. It can be used on bisqueware or suitable bone-dry greenware for a Cone 06 one-fire workflow, reducing the need for a separate bisque firing where that process is appropriate.
