Deep Sea - Speedball Studio Plus Glaze 473ml
Deep Sea is a very dark blue Speedball Studio Plus glaze with a rich glossy finish that brings depth and dimension to ceramic work. It is ideal for ocean-inspired pottery, dramatic tableware, night-sky designs, celestial ceramics, statement mugs, bowls, plates and bold decorative pieces.
Part of the Speedball Studio Plus glaze range, Deep Sea produces a glossy, very dark blue finish at both low-fire and mid-fire temperatures. It can be used individually or mixed with other Studio Plus glazes to create unique custom colours for your ceramic palette.
When fired at Cone 5/6, the deep blue colour remains true, although the glaze may move or blend depending on the firing temperature, layering and application thickness. Test tiles are recommended when using glaze combinations at mid-range temperatures.

Fired results may vary depending on application thickness, clay body, glaze combinations and kiln conditions. We recommend testing first when using Deep Sea on a new clay body, mixing colours or layering glazes for a mid-fire firing.
