Crisp Pear is a vibrant chartreuse-green Speedball Studio Plus glaze, perfect for fresh botanical designs, fruit-inspired pottery, spring ceramics, tropical themes, children’s projects and lively decorative details with a bright, modern feel.
Part of the Speedball Studio Plus glaze range, Crisp Pear produces a glossy, bright green finish at both low-fire and mid-fire temperatures. It can be used individually or mixed with other Studio Plus glazes to create unique custom colours for your ceramic palette.
When fired at Cone 5/6, the bright green colour remains true, although the glaze may move or blend depending on the firing temperature, layering and application thickness. Test tiles are recommended when using glaze combinations at mid-range temperatures.

Fired results may vary depending on application thickness, clay body, glaze combinations and kiln conditions. We recommend testing first when using Crisp Pear on a new clay body, mixing colours or layering glazes for a mid-fire firing.
