Opaque Yellow Stoneware Glaze with a Soft Matt Finish
Yellow Studio Line Matt Stoneware Glaze produces an opaque yellow surface with a soft matt finish on stoneware and porcelain. Its lighter colour works well for accent areas or broader coverage where you want yellow to bring brightness to the piece without the stronger reflection of a gloss glaze.
At higher firing temperatures the matt surface can develop a soft satin sheen. The Studio Line range is intermixable, so Yellow can also be combined with other Studio Line glazes when you want to adjust the finished surface character. Test combinations on your chosen clay body and firing schedule before using them on important pieces.
