Turquoise Stoneware Glaze with a Soft Matt Finish
Turquoise Studio Line Matt Stoneware Glaze produces an opaque blue-green surface with a soft matt finish on stoneware and porcelain. Its fresh turquoise colour provides a lighter alternative to deeper greens and blues, making it useful for larger glazed areas or defined sections where a clear blue-green tone suits the finished piece.
At higher firing temperatures the matt surface can develop a soft satin sheen. The Studio Line range is intermixable, so Turquoise can also be combined with other Studio Line glazes when you want to adjust the finished surface character. Test combinations on your chosen clay body and firing schedule before using them on important pieces.
