Transparent Stoneware Glaze with a Soft Matt Finish
Transparent Studio Line Matt Stoneware Glaze provides a transparent fired surface with a soft matt character on stoneware and porcelain. It is a useful choice when you want a quieter finish without adding an opaque glaze colour, while higher firing temperatures can produce a softer satin sheen.
The Studio Line range is intermixable, giving you the option to combine Transparent Matt with other Studio Line glazes and adjust the finished surface character. Glaze thickness, combinations, clay body and kiln conditions can influence the result, so test your chosen combination and firing schedule before using it on important pieces.
