Opaque Dark Blue Stoneware Glaze with a Soft Matt Finish
Dark Blue Studio Line Matt Stoneware Glaze produces an opaque deep blue surface with a soft matt finish on stoneware and porcelain. Its darker colour gives ceramic forms a strong, understated appearance and works well across larger glazed areas or defined sections where a deep blue tone is intended to lead the design.
At higher firing temperatures the matt surface can develop a soft satin sheen. The Studio Line range is intermixable, so Dark Blue can also be combined with other Studio Line glazes when you want to adjust the finished surface character. Test combinations on your chosen clay body and firing schedule before using them on important pieces.
