Warm Brown Stoneware Glaze with a Soft Matt Finish
Brown Studio Line Matt Stoneware Glaze produces an opaque warm brown surface with a soft matt finish on stoneware and porcelain. Its grounded colour works well across larger glazed areas or as a darker neutral accent, giving finished pottery a rich earthy appearance without the stronger reflection of a gloss glaze.
At higher firing temperatures the matt surface can develop a soft satin sheen. The Studio Line range is intermixable, so Brown can also be combined with other Studio Line glazes when you want to adjust the finished surface character. Test combinations on your chosen clay body and firing schedule before using them on important pieces.
