Deep Black Stoneware Glaze with a Soft Matt Finish
Black Studio Line Matt Stoneware Glaze produces a deep, opaque black surface with a soft matt finish on stoneware and porcelain. Its dark neutral colour gives ceramic forms strong definition and works well across larger glazed areas or as a contrasting surface alongside lighter colours.
Choose Black when you want solid dark coverage with less reflection than a bright gloss glaze. At higher firing temperatures the matt surface can develop a soft satin sheen. The Studio Line range is intermixable, so test combinations on your chosen clay body and firing schedule before using them on important pieces.
