For Trimming, Hollowing and Shaping Clay
This double-ended loop tool combines oval and flat ribbon profiles for trimming and shaping clay. The sharpened flattened metal ribbon edges can be used to trim the bases of thrown pots and remove clay when hollowing sculptural or hand-built forms.
Measuring approximately 6 inches long, the tool provides two different loop shapes on one wooden handle. This allows you to switch between the oval and flat profiles when working on wheel-thrown pottery, sculptural forms and hand-built clay pieces.
