For Trimming, Hollowing and Shaping Clay
This double-ended loop tool combines an angled flat ribbon profile with a flat ribbon profile for trimming and shaping clay. Its sharpened flattened metal ribbon edges can be used to trim the bases of thrown pots and remove clay when hollowing sculptural or hand-built forms.
Measuring approximately 6 inches long, the tool provides two different end shapes on one wooden handle. This allows you to switch between the angled flat and flat profiles during wheel work, sculpting and hand-building.
