For Trimming, Hollowing and Shaping Clay
This double-ended loop tool combines flat and round ribbon profiles for trimming and shaping clay. Its sharpened flattened metal ribbon edges can be used for trimming the bases of thrown pots and removing clay when hollowing sculptural or hand-built forms.
With a different loop profile at each end, you can switch between the flat and round shapes without changing tools. The tool measures approximately 6 inches long and has a wooden handle for use during wheel work, sculpting and hand-building.
