The Skutt KMT1427 is a 14-sided top loading electric ceramic kiln with a WiFi touchscreen controller. With an impressive firing capacity of around 12.75 cubic feet (361 litres) and 3" brick construction, this high-capacity Cone 10 kiln is ideal for sculptors and production potters who need serious volume in a studio or home setting.
As part of the Skutt Production Kiln (PK) series, the KMT1427 incorporates solid-state relays, busbar element connectors, heavy-duty wiring, Zone Control, dual lid braces and a standard lid lifter—combining power, control and durability for demanding studio environments. It comes complete with a

Please note, most of our top loading kiln models need to be wired directly into the electricity supply. The only exceptions are the KM714, KMT714 and our Skutt FireBox 8x4 and FireBox 8x6 tabletop kilns, which are supplied as plug-in models. We also recommend a clearance of at least 18" around the kiln. Please refer to the product images and specification sheet for overall dimensions.
