Z-Bracket Kiln Thermocouples are widely used across many UK-manufactured kilns and are also
commonly fitted to older kiln models. These open-head thermocouples provide dependable, accurate
temperature sensing and are available in R, S and K Type configurations to suit a broad range
of firing applications.
All Cromartie Z-Bracket thermocouples are manufactured to a high standard using
RA (Recrystallised Alumina — 99.7%) ceramic sheaths for excellent heat resistance and
long-term stability during repeated firings.
Thermocouple wire element diameters:
0.25mm for R & S Type
1.6mm for K Type
