Pink-Toned Dry Stoneware Glaze with Varied Fired Colour
Watermelon Milton Bridge dry stoneware glaze produces a decorative fired surface with soft pink colouring and stronger magenta variation visible around recessed and raised detail. The contrast can help textured, carved or impressed decoration stand out while retaining a lighter surrounding colour, giving stoneware pieces more visual variation than a flat single-colour surface.
This 1kg powdered format is prepared by mixing the glaze thoroughly with the specified proportions of water and medium before application. The glaze recipe contains no clay, so the medium is an important part of preparation, helping adhesion to the ceramic body while also reducing settling and supporting the mixed glaze during storage and firing.
- Apply up to 3 coats after thorough mixing
- Suitable for functional and decorative stoneware ceramics when fired as directed
- Test the prepared glaze on representative clay and decoration before using it across an important batch
