Walnut Powdered Glaze for Stoneware Decoration
Walnut Milton Bridge dry stoneware glaze is a powdered glaze for functional and decorative stoneware ceramics. The supplied fired sample shows a warm orange-brown surface with darker mottling and speckling, with deeper colour gathering around the raised leaf decoration. This visible variation gives the relief detail clear tonal definition across the sample.
The 1kg pack is the smaller supplied format for preparing Walnut glaze as required. Because the glaze recipe contains no clay, the specified brushing medium forms an important part of preparation, supporting adhesion to the ceramic body, extending shelf life and reducing settling while also helping to minimise crazing during firing.
