Blue-Green Dry Stoneware Glaze with Deep Blue Detail
Turquoise Milton Bridge Stoneware Glaze produces the blue-green fired result shown on the sample, with softer aqua areas across the surface and deeper blue definition around the raised leaf motif. This changing colour can work particularly well on textured and relief decoration, where edges and raised details give the different turquoise and blue tones more opportunity to show.
Choose the 1kg dry format when you want to prepare the glaze from powder rather than use a ready-mixed liquid glaze. The recipe contains no clay, so brushing medium is used in the mix to support adhesion to the ceramic body, reduce settling, extend shelf life and help minimise crazing during firing.
