Soft Neutral Dry Stoneware Glaze for Subtle Ceramic Detail
Transparent Matte is a Milton Bridge dry stoneware glaze with a pale cream to off-white fired appearance and restrained tonal variation. Raised and impressed decoration remains visually distinct beneath the surface, making it a useful neutral option where the shape, texture and relief of the ceramic piece are intended to remain an important part of the finished design.
This 1kg pack is the smaller dry format available in the range, providing a lower-quantity option where a 25kg pack is not required. The glaze is supplied as powder rather than ready-mixed liquid, so it is prepared with water and medium before application to the ceramic body.

- Brushing medium supports adhesion to the ceramic body and helps reduce settling
- The medium also extends shelf life and helps minimise crazing during firing
