Deep Red-Brown Dry Stoneware Glaze for Fired Ceramics
Rosewood Milton Bridge dry stoneware glaze produces a deep red-brown fired colour, with the sample showing darker variation around the raised decoration. The warm, earthy colouring can work particularly well where carved lines, relief or textured areas are intended to remain visible within the finished stoneware surface.
This 1kg powdered glaze is mixed with water and medium before use. The recipe contains no clay, so the medium helps the prepared glaze adhere to the ceramic body, reduces settling, extends shelf life and helps minimise crazing during firing. Mix thoroughly before applying up to three coats.
