Speckled Cream Dry Stoneware Glaze for Textured Pottery
Milled Pepper Milton Bridge dry stoneware glaze fires to a pale warm cream surface scattered with fine brown and russet speckles. The fired sample also shows subtle peach-beige variation around the raised decoration, creating a softly broken colour that can complement carved, stamped and lightly textured pottery without overwhelming the underlying form.
Choose Milled Pepper when you want a light, naturally speckled stoneware surface rather than a plain uniform cream. This 1kg dry format is prepared before use from powder, water and medium, giving you a practical smaller pack for mixing your own glaze. Follow the specified proportions, application guidance and firing range below when preparing the glaze.
- The glaze recipe contains no clay
- Brushing medium supports adhesion to the ceramic body, extends shelf life and reduces settling
- The medium also helps minimise crazing during firing
