Soft Speckled Dry Stoneware Glaze for Subtle Ceramic Colour
Linen gives stoneware a light off-white to pale cream fired colour scattered with fine darker speckles. The softly varied surface provides more visual character than a completely uniform white while still keeping the overall palette restrained, making it well suited to functional or decorative pieces where raised, carved or impressed details can remain clearly visible.
Choose the 1kg dry format when you want a smaller quantity of Linen to prepare from powder rather than a ready-mixed liquid glaze. Mix it thoroughly using the specified water and medium proportions before application; the medium forms part of the recommended preparation because this powdered glaze recipe contains no clay.
- Medium supports adhesion to the ceramic body
- Helps reduce settling and extend shelf life
- Helps minimise crazing during firing
