Deep Blue Powdered Glaze with Blue-Green Variation

Liberty Blue Milton Bridge Stoneware Glaze develops a deep blue fired surface with blue-green and muted grey variation across the visible sample. Darker areas gather around impressed detail while lighter broken colour appears across the surrounding surface, making this glaze particularly interesting on carved, stamped or textured pottery where the decoration can influence the finished appearance.

Choose Liberty Blue when you want a darker blue stoneware colour with more tonal movement than an even single-colour surface. For smaller batches and initial testing, this dry format gives you scope to establish the preferred result before glazing important work; keep a labelled fired sample because clay body, application and firing conditions can influence the final colour.

  • Test on the intended clay body before glazing important pieces.
  • Compare smooth and textured test pieces to assess the colour response around surface detail.
  • Keep a labelled fired reference sample for later batch comparisons.
