Pale Ivory Dry Glaze for Subtle Stoneware Surfaces
Ivory Milton Bridge Stoneware Glaze creates a light ivory fired colour with a soft neutral character. The pale tone is useful where you want the shape and surface of a ceramic piece to remain visually prominent rather than being dominated by a strong colour, and the fired sample shows the glaze clearly following raised decorative detail.
The 1kg pack is the smaller powdered option for preparing glaze as required. Choose it when you want the Ivory colour without committing to the larger 25kg format. As this is a dry glaze rather than a ready-mixed liquid, it needs to be thoroughly prepared with water and medium before application.
- The glaze recipe contains no clay
- Brushing medium supports adhesion to the ceramic body and helps reduce settling
- The medium also helps extend shelf life and minimise crazing during firing
