Mottled Brown & Olive Dry Glaze for Stoneware Pottery
Hickory Milton Bridge Stoneware Glaze is shown with a mottled blend of warm brown, olive-grey and charcoal-toned areas, with darker definition around the raised leaf detail. The varied fired colour can work particularly well across carved, impressed or relief decoration where changing tones help emphasise the surface rather than producing a single flat colour.
The 1kg pack is the smaller dry option in this matrix and is prepared with water and medium before application. Choose this size when you want to work with Hickory in powdered form without moving to the 25kg bulk pack; the verified preparation, coat and firing information is set out below for consistent measuring and use.
- The glaze recipe contains no clay
- Brushing medium supports adhesion to the ceramic body
- The medium helps reduce settling and extend shelf life
- It also helps minimise crazing during firing
