Soft Blue-Green Powdered Glaze for Stoneware Detail
Flint Milton Bridge dry stoneware glaze shows a soft, muted blue-green fired surface in the sample, with stronger blue around the raised leaf detail and paler green-grey colour across the surrounding area. The subtle variation can complement carved, impressed or relief decoration where you want an understated glaze colour while allowing the ceramic surface and decorative detail to remain clearly visible.
Choose Flint when you want a cool, restrained colour direction rather than a vivid turquoise or heavily saturated blue. This 1kg powder is prepared with water and brushing medium before application; the medium supports adhesion to the ceramic body, extends shelf life, reduces settling and helps minimise crazing during firing.
- Mix thoroughly before application
- Apply up to 3 coats
- Suitable for functional and decorative stoneware ceramics when fired as directed
