Mauve-Lilac Powdered Glaze for Larger Stoneware Batches
Choose Orchid Milton Bridge dry stoneware glaze when a muted mauve-lilac fired colour suits the ceramic surface. The fired sample shows a softly varied field of colour with stronger purple definition around the raised leaf motif, giving textured and relief decoration a clear visual contrast without relying on a single flat tone.
This 25kg dry pack provides a larger quantity for preparing glaze as required. Because the powder contains no clay in its recipe, brushing medium is used to support adhesion to the ceramic body, reduce settling, extend shelf life and help minimise crazing during firing. Prepare the glaze using the specified water and medium ratio and mix thoroughly before use.
- Apply up to 3 coats after thorough mixing
- Useful where a larger quantity of prepared glaze is required
- Suitable for functional and decorative stoneware ceramics when fired as directed
