Golden-Yellow Dry Stoneware Glaze for Larger Batches
Pineapple gives fired stoneware a warm yellow to golden-yellow appearance with soft shifts in tone across the surface. On the fired sample, recessed and raised areas remain visually distinct rather than being hidden by the colour, allowing impressed patterns and other surface detail to contribute naturally to the finished ceramic.
The 25kg dry format is the larger option for studios preparing greater quantities of the same glaze. Its warm colour offers a distinct alternative to cooler, darker or neutral stoneware surfaces while remaining suitable for both decorative and functional ceramics when fired as directed. Prepare the powder with the specified water and medium before applying the recommended coats.
- No clay is included in the glaze recipe
- Brushing medium helps the prepared glaze adhere to the ceramic body and reduces settling
- The medium helps extend shelf life and minimise crazing during firing
