It suits ceramic work where you want the underlying clay, decoration or surface detail to stay part of the finished appearance rather than being covered by an opaque colour.
Choose this glaze when you need a transparent finish rather than a coloured Milton Bridge glaze. Fired results can vary depending on the clay body, application and firing process, so testing on the intended clay is useful when appearance needs to remain consistent across a set or larger batch.
