Deep Brown Stoneware Glaze with Warm Tonal Variation
Taupe Milton Bridge Stoneware Glaze develops a deep brown fired colour with warmer reddish-brown variation across the decorated surface. The darker ground and warmer tones around the leaf relief give carved, impressed or raised details clear definition, making the colour particularly effective where surface pattern is intended to remain visible.
Choose Taupe when you want a darker neutral stoneware colour with more warmth and tonal movement than a flat, even brown. Fired results can vary depending on the clay body, application and firing process, so testing on the intended clay is useful when matching pieces or reproducing a particular result.
- Stir well before application.
- Apply up to 3 coats depending on the result required.
- Allow each coat to dry before applying the next.
