Warm Ochre-Tan Stoneware Glaze for Subtle Surface Detail
Sand Milton Bridge Stoneware Glaze gives pottery a warm ochre-tan fired colour with gentle tonal variation. The sandy surface develops slightly deeper shading around the leaf relief, allowing carved, impressed or raised decoration to remain visible without creating a strongly contrasting result.
Choose Sand when you want an understated earthy colour that can complement simple forms and natural ceramic palettes while still showing surface detail. Fired results can vary depending on the clay body, application and firing process, so testing is useful when matching several pieces or reproducing a particular result.
- Stir well before application.
- Apply up to 3 coats depending on the result required.
- Allow each coat to dry before applying the next.
