Liberty Blue Milton Bridge Stoneware Glaze creates a deep blue fired surface with blue-green mottling and darker tonal variation around impressed detail. Its cool, layered colour works particularly well on textured or relief-decorated pottery, where raised and recessed areas can give the changing blue tones more opportunity to become part of the finished decoration.
Choose Liberty Blue when you want a darker blue ceramic surface with more tonal movement than a flat single-colour result. Fired colour can vary depending on the clay body, application and firing process, so testing the glaze on your intended clay and decoration is useful before applying the same treatment across a larger batch of work.
