Earthy Brown Stoneware Glaze with Olive and Dark Mottling
Hickory Milton Bridge Stoneware Glaze produces an earthy fired surface with warm brown, muted olive and darker mottled areas. The changing tones give the colour a naturally varied character, while the fired sample shows the glaze settling around impressed decoration so raised and recessed details remain visually distinct.
Choose Hickory when you want a darker, more varied ceramic colour rather than an evenly coloured surface. Its mixture of warm and muted tones can add depth to textured or decorated pottery, although the final colour can change with the clay body, application and firing process, so allow for natural variation between finished pieces.
