Transparent Matte Green with a Tactile Sea-Glass Surface
Sea Glass Green C6 Pro Series Stoneware Glaze combines a soft sea-green tint with a transparent matte fired surface. Its translucent colour allows throwing lines, impressed motifs and shallow relief to remain visible, while the smooth, almost waxy feel gives finished pottery a tactile sea-glass character. It is well suited to quietly textured vessels and decorative pieces where surface detail should remain part of the design.
Choose Sea Glass Green when you want a muted green surface with less reflection than a conventional gloss and more visible detail than opaque coverage. Clay body, application thickness, layering and kiln conditions can change the colour depth and surface variation, so compare smooth and relief test pieces on the intended body before applying a new method or combination across a full batch.
- Label test tiles with the clay body and application thickness used.
- Record the application order when testing layered glaze combinations.
- Add Powder Gum Arabic as required for a thicker applied finish.
