Transparent Greenish-Blue Celadon Colour for Cone 6 Pottery
Electric Celadon Green C6 Pro Series Stoneware Glaze develops a clear, glossy greenish-blue tint that is especially visible on porcelain and lighter clay bodies. The translucent colour follows throwing lines and subtle changes in application, adding pale celadon movement while allowing the character of the clay beneath to remain part of the fired surface.
Choose this glaze when you want a softly tinted transparent surface rather than opaque green coverage. The supplied test tile shows how the result shifts between a white-slipped section and exposed buff stoneware, so compare the intended clay body, application thickness and any layered combination before glazing a full batch.
- Label test tiles with the clay body and application thickness used.
- When brushing, consider adding a small amount of brushing medium first.
- Add Powder Gum Arabic as required for a thicker applied finish.
