Weathered Blue-Green Colour with Soft Tonal Variation
Antique Blue/Green C6 Pro Series Stoneware Glaze develops a soft green-to-light-blue semi-matte surface with the layered character of weathered painted furniture. Where the glaze gathers, subtle warm cream and moody grey tones can emerge, helping ridges, carved areas and recessed details show more variation across the fired piece.
Choose this glaze when you want an aged blue-green surface rather than a flat, uniform colour. It is particularly suited to forms where changing tone can help define throwing lines, shallow relief or recessed areas. Because clay body, application thickness, layering and kiln conditions can shift the balance, compare labelled test tiles before using it across important work.
- When brushing, consider adding brushing medium before application.
- Compare even, pooled and layered applications on separate test tiles.
- Use Powder Gum Arabic as required for a thicker applied finish.
