Glossy Green Pottery Glaze for Raised & Textured Bisque
Glass Green Gare Simplicity Gloss Glaze produces a glossy green surface that flows across raised detail, allowing darker tones to gather around recesses and emphasise the shape of textured ceramic pieces. It is particularly effective where ridges, grooves and relief decoration can interact with the movement of the glaze rather than producing a completely flat block of colour.
Choose Glass Green for textured decorative bisque such as ceramic Christmas trees, where Gare specifically demonstrates the glaze flowing across raised branches. No separate clear glaze or dipping step is required. Fire to shelf Cone 06, approximately 1000–1020°C. This glaze is not recommended for dinnerware.
