Pale Cream Underglaze for Subtle Ceramic Decoration
Vanilla Cromartie Colours Underglaze gives fired ceramic decoration a very pale warm cream to off-white tone, as shown by the fired sample. Its restrained colour works naturally with brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layering when a lighter shade is needed alongside stronger colours or within a softer fired palette.
The 59ml variant provides a smaller quantity for projects that require less colour. Cone 6 stoneware firing can change the resulting shade, so test the intended firing schedule first when maintaining the pale Vanilla appearance is important.
- Suitable for brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layering
- Can be combined with Cromartie Crystals and other ceramic glazes
- For Majolica techniques, apply over an opaque, non-moving glaze
