Fresh Aqua-Blue Underglaze for Brushwork and Layering
Aqua Blue Cromartie Colours Underglaze gives ceramic decoration a fresh, light aqua-blue fired colour, as shown in the supplied sample. The clean blue tone works particularly well where a brighter colour is wanted for sky, water and coastal-inspired decoration, while also providing a useful colour for brushwork, layered designs and contrasting details.
Choose Aqua Blue when you want a clearer, brighter blue rather than a softer muted pastel tone. It can be used across the supplied firing range, although colour changes can occur at Cone 6, so testing first is recommended when matching a particular fired shade is important.
- Suitable for brushwork, sgraffito, sponging and layering
- Can be combined with Cromartie Crystals and other ceramic glazes
- For traditional Majolica techniques, apply over an opaque, non-moving glaze
