Dry Glaze Powder for Porcelain and Stoneware Mixing
Porcelain & Stoneware Powdered Glaze is supplied as a 1kg dry glaze powder for mixing with water before use. It is suitable for customers who prefer to prepare glaze to their own spraying or dipping consistency rather than using a ready-mixed liquid glaze.
Add the dry powder slowly into water while mixing, then continue until the powder is fully dispersed. Sieve the mixed glaze through a suitable mesh before use, stir again before each application, and make sure no sediment remains on the bottom or sides of the storage vessel.

- For porcelain and stoneware use
- Mix with water before spraying or dipping
- Lead-free glaze guide: 50% water for spraying, 60% for dipping, 75% for dipping porous biscuit
- Lead-containing glaze guide: 45% water for spraying, 50% for dipping, 65% for dipping porous biscuit
- Recommended sieve mesh: 80s, 100s or 120s
- Reactive glazes should use a coarser 40s or 60s mesh where required
- Wear a dust mask and gloves when handling dry glaze powder
Note: Water ratios are guidance only. Adjust as needed for your preferred glaze consistency, and store mixed glaze in a clean, dry environment.
