Speedball® Boss Base™ (Orange)
Created in collaboration with professional potter Rich Brown and inspired by the craftsmanship of North Carolina pottery,
the Speedball® Boss Base™ is an ergonomic tool designed to help potters form consistent, flat bases with straight sides.
Press into a centred ball of clay and pull outward to create a clean, even start for wheel-thrown pieces.
Designed to create a uniform 9.5mm (3/8") thick base, it reduces guesswork and helps achieve repeatable results across mugs,
bowls and cylinders. Flip it over and it can also be used to shape plates with a flat surface.
