Earthenware Slip Drymix Pellets are designed for making white earthenware casting slip by mixing the pellets with water. Supplied in a 25kg pack, these drymix pellets are a practical option for potters, studios and ceramic workshops that prefer to prepare casting slip as required.
To use, soak the pellets in water and mix once softened. A guide specific gravity of 1.85 is recommended, and deflocculant can be added to adjust the slip to your preferred working viscosity. Once prepared, the slip can be used for white earthenware slip casting projects and fired in the same way as regular white earthenware bisque.
